A:
Educating the homebuyer is our #1 priority. We've performed thousands of inspections on homes built from the year 1760 - present new construction. A home inspection is an excellent tool to assist you, the home buyer. An inspection helps you to determine not only the condition of the home, but to also help inform you of any immediate unnecessary additional cost that may go unnoticed without the help of a home inspection.

Q: Why can’t I have someone in my family who is very handy or a contractor, inspect my new home?
A: You can, but you shouldn't. Our inspections check and evaluate over 1650 items, inside and out. Many potential new homeowners make this mistake when purchasing a home. Although the person you are considering may be very skilled, they are not trained or experienced at being a professional home inspector. Home inspecting is a unique skill like no other. A: By all means, give us a call! We are doing this for you to inform you of every aspect of the home you wish to invest in. The office keeps a copy of your report which we will retrieve, and return your call to answer any followup questions you may have. You can call us and discuss all of the aspects of your home whenever you like. Our service is a long-term investment.

Q: How do I choose a Home Inspector?
A:
Check their web sites, ask friends. This is a major investment. You should choose a certified company... a company that cares enough to obtain as much information and knowledge as they can to provide you with a comprehensive, thorough inspection report. Call up and ask about their credentials and experience. If for some reason you don't feel comfortable asking this of the inspector when speaking with them on the phone then how will you feel asking questions at the inspection. You must feel that the inspector is qualified, experienced and attentive of your needs.
